Retina is the innermost layer of nerve cells that line the back of the eye. It is the most highly developed tissue of the eye the function of the retina is to convert light signals into neural signals and send them to brain.
The retina is a vital tissue and its disorders may severly affect the sight and cause blindness, if not treated on time.
